John: See the 1st picture. There're 3 types of electrodes. One type is parallel electrodes. One type is fringing electrodes. And, the last type is between parallel and fringing electrodes.
.
Me: The field line of fringing electrodes are "Bent".
.
John: Yes,. See the 2nd picture. There're 2 parts. They are part of left hand side and the part of right hand side.
Me: OK.
John: Which part is correct?
Me: Logically, the part of left hand side is correct. That mean, the 1st branch is up cycle and the 2nd brach is down cycle.
.
John (shaking head): Let me tell you. The part of right hand side is correct either.
Me: The right hand side is correct?
John: Yes,. That mean the 4th branch is at down cycle. The 1st and 2nd "branchs" are at up cycle, at the same time, the 3rd branch is at down cycle.
.
Me: If the 3rd branch is at the down cycle, the parallel electrode between 3rd and 4th branch disappear.
John: Correct.
